Bowing to political pressure, the Justice Department abruptly dropped proposed revisions to Freedom of Information Act rules Thursday that would have authorized the government to inform the public that requested records do not exist even if they do.

The proposal would have granted the government a new option to state that documents relevant to a FOIA request did not exist. According to the Justice Department’s proposal, if the government believes records should be withheld, the government agency to which the request was made “will respond to the request as if the excluded records did not exist.”

Under normal practice, which seems Orwellian enough, the government may assert that it can neither confirm nor deny that relevant records exist if the matter involves national security.

Civil rights groups, and a host of lawmakers from both sides of the spectrum, had blasted the Justice Department’s original proposal.

“For five decades, the Freedom of Information Act has given life to the American value that in an open society, it is essential to carefully balance the public’s right to know and government’s need to keep some information secret,” said Senate Judiciary Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vermont.) “The Justice Department’s decision to withdraw this proposal acknowledges and honors that careful balance, and will help ensure that the American people have confidence in the process for seeking information from their government.”

The American Civil Liberties Union, OpentheGovernment.org and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington lobbied against the proposal, which the Justice Department said Thursday “falls short” in balancing openness with national security.

“Putting an end to lies about the mere existence of documents is one step toward restoring Americans’ trust in their government,” said Laura W. Murphy, the ACLU’s Washington, D.C. legislative director.

Still, the government has embraced lying even without FOIA being altered. And judges aren’t very tough on the government when it does lie in FOIA cases.

Last month, for example, a federal judge decided not to hold the CIA in contempt for destroying videotapes of detainee interrogations that included the use of a torture technique known as waterboarding, ruling instead that the spy agency merely committed “transgressions” for its failure to abide by his court order to produce them in a FOIA case brought by the ACLU.

The Millions March in Harlem buzz is in the streets around the country. Posters and flyers are everywhere and people are excitedly talking about the need for unified action and change. The Millions March in Harlem will be held on  Saturday, August 13, assembling on Malcolm X Blvd at 110th Street at 10 AM.  It will focus on the attack on African people on the Continent and in the United States.

The heinous bombing of Libya by the US and NATO, illegal sanctions against Zimbabwe by the West, and the Bloomberg administration’s destruction of housing, jobs, education, health care and police abuse, are all a systematic assault on African communities.

The Nation of Islam is fully behind this march, it is extremely important, and we will do all that we can to make this happen.”

Viola Plummer of the December 12th Movement International Secretariat stated, “There comes a time when people have no alternative but resistance. This march will revitalize the Pan African movement. It will broaden our peoples’ world view and demonstrate the need for Africans to unite in our own political and economic interests internationally. We must expose the United Nations Security Council machinations, western imperialism, the attack on Black people in the US, and all collaborators at every turn.”

The march has garnered international attention with the participation of Father Miguel d’Escoto Brockman, who flew in from Nicaragua and attended the Harlem press conference. Father d’Escoto spoke against the “war of aggression on Libya.” Further stating “There is no people in the whole planet who know less about what the United States does abroad than Americans. They are systematically deceived. This is the very foundation of what they call democracy in this country.”  Father d’Escoto went on to outline the need for reform in the United Nations, emphasizing the domination of the voting members of the UN Security Council over all other countries.

On the ground, “Millions March In Harlem” organizing teams, which are saturating the streets with bright green posters, report on the grassroots response. “We never underestimate our people’s ability to analyze a situation. The vast majority of folk are clear about the attack on African people and want to do something to fight back. Mainstream media propaganda about strong African leaders like Colonel Muammar Gaddafi and President Robert Mugabe is just like what they say about Black people here who do not bow down to the status quo,” said Gregory Perry of Queens.

In 2007, an ailing former CIA operative, E. Howard Hunt, said former president Lyndon Baines Johnson was directly connected to the JFK assassination and its cover-up. Others close to Johnson also indicated the Texan was complicit in the assassination of Kennedy.

The former first Lady, the late Jackie Kennedy, also believed Johnson and cabal of Texas tycoons were involved in the assassination of her husband, according to a report posted on the Mail Onlinewebsite.

Secret tapes recorded by historian Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., soon after the assassination reveal the widow’s belief that the vice president had colluded with Southern businessmen to kill Kennedy in Dallas on November 22, 1963. Lee Harvey Oswald was part of a larger conspiracy, she said.

Following the murder, Kennedy married Greek shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis. She ordered the tapes to be released 50 years after he death to protect the family, but her daughter, Caroline Kennedy, has agreed to release the tapes ahead of the deadline. Jackie Onassis died 17 years ago from cancer aged 64.

It is said Caroline Kennedy agreed to release the tapes to ABC in exchange for the network dropping a drama series about her family.

“Having Kennedy liquidated, thus elevating himself to the presidency without having to work for it himself, could have been a very tempting and logical move on Johnson’s part,” the late E. Howard Hunt wrote in his book, American Spy: My Secret History in the CIA, Watergate & Beyond. “LBJ had the money and the connections to manipulate the scenario in Dallas and is on record as having convinced JFK to make the appearance in the first place.”

In early 2007, Hunt’s son, Saint John Hunt, said he had received a tape recording from his father in which he revealed his role in the assassination.

Johnson had “an almost maniacal urge to become president, he regarded JFK as an obstacle to achieving that,” Hunt said.

For most of human history, empires and rulers have made a killing in the business of war, land grabs, territorial conquests, natural resource exploitation, and the high stakes game of power politics.

But that violent and savage era is coming to an end. Mankind is growing up. For proof, look at the global grassroots 9/11 truth movement that is changing the face of world politics, reawakening the people, and questioning the foundations of the criminal war on terror.

The inside job theory of the 9/11 attacks is supported by scientific evidence, numerous eyewitness accounts, circumstantial data, and common sense thinking.

People who are able to connect dots and break free from the mass conditioning can see that the Bush administration, the neocon fringe, the CIA and Israel are one hundred percent responsible for the 9/11 crime and tragedy.

The attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon is a textbook case of false flag terrorism. Out of the ashes of 9/11 arose a new mythic and manufactured enemy along with a new undefinable world war that pits the forces of freedom on the side of terrorism and the forces of evil on the side of the law.

We are stuck in a cultural black hole of disinformation and totalitarian brainwashing. In the past decade and more, Western man has experienced the menticide of the Western mind. The 9/11 lie is a symptom of this wider cultural, social and political phenomenon.

Dutch-American psychoanalyst Joost A. M. Meerloo M.D., known for his work on mind control and brainwashing in totalitarian societies,defined menticide in the American Journal of Psychiatry in 1951 as “an organized system of judicial perversion and psychological intervention, in which a powerful tyrant transfers his own thoughts and words into the minds and mouths of the victims he plans to destroy or to use for his own propaganda.”

“Totalitarian leaders, whether of the right or of the left,” wrote Meerloo in his 1956 book, The Rape of The Mind: The Psychology of Thought Control, Menticide, and Brainwashing, “thrive on chaos and bewilderment. During unrest in international politics, they are most at ease. The strategy of fear is one of their most valuable tactics,” (Meerloo, ‘The Rape of The Mind’; Grosset & Dunlap: New York, 1956. Pg. 164).

The discovery that the Western mind, and to a lesser extent the collective global mind, has been brainwashed by shadow and informal governments in Washington, London, Israel and other countries into thinking that Arab extremists did 9/11 is a profound revelation. It forces each individual to re-examine not just the big lie of 9/11, or other big lies of recorded history, but the nature of human consciousness and human psychology.

In his 2004 book, “Self and Society,” American philosopher William Irwin Thompson writes that the shadow governments of the world are deceiving and manipulating their populations while grabbing ever more power for themselves. Thompson says:

Unfortunately, we have now arrived at a situation in which an invisible and internal government inside nations such as Pakistan and Iran — as well as in ‘terrorist’ nations such as Iraq — can camouflage itself with Islamicist ideology, just as an internal and invisible government inside our televized American government can camouflage itself with a liberal democratic ideology of free elections–elections that are totally controlled by the process of fund-raising from the very people who own the media and constitute the invisible directorate. Like cattle, the info-serfs are fed with technoswill in media feedlots that prepare their minds for slaughter. As our internal shadow government puts away civil liberties for safekeeping in its state of permanent war against terrorists, global and domestic, it creates a situation that is ideally suited to keep itself in power indefinitely. (Thompson, ‘Self and Society’; Imprint Academic: United Kingdom, 2004. Pg. 79-80).

The shadow governments are destroying this planet and bringing humanity to the brink of the abyss.
Instead of a war on terror there should be a peaceful war on mass ignorance, mindless prejudice, media censorship, and government secrecy. In fact, that is the infowar that people like radio host Alex Jones, Professor Peter Dale Scott, former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Paul Craig Roberts, and former Governor Jesse Ventura, as well as other 9/11 truth-tellers, are waging.

It is an intellectual war for the mind of man. It is a spiritual war for the destiny of the human race.

And the 9/11 truth movement is the greatest enemy of 21st century tyrants who want to control humanity and the world. We are unmasking the evil nature of totalitarian political power as exercised by the shadow governments of America, Israel, England, and other countries.

II. 11 Ways The 9/11 Truth Movement is Challenging The Hijacking of History And The Totalitarian Reengineering of Human Consciousness

1. The 9/11 truth movement points out to people that there is a force in the universe that is greater than government. Call it Truth. Call it Civil Society. Call it God. No matter what you call this force, it puts government to shame. The power of spontaneous and collective civil action is light years beyond the power of tanks and guns as wielded by the robots of the state.

2. By showing to people that reality can be like a dream, the 9/11 truth movement motivates people to dream a better society and help remake the world, as Martin Luther King Jr. and the American founding revolutionaries did. The power to dream is the power to recreate the world. Once the mask of the 9/11 lie is pulled down, anything becomes possible.

3. The 9/11 truth movement is replanting the old truth in modern hearts that the individual mind is sacred and that it is a crime to use totalitarian brainwashing tricks against human beings. Individuals who express a difference of opinion in any society deserve to be heard, not shouted down and called nasty names like “paranoid” and “crazy conspiracy theorists.”

Meerloo says in “The Rape of the Mind,” that societies are strong and free when unique speech and different worldviews are allowed to be examined under the collective microscope. Meerloo writes:

Our human strength lies in our diversity and independence of thought, in our acceptance of nonconformity, in our willingness to discuss and to evaluate various conflicting points of view. In denying the diversities of life and the complexity and individuality of the human mind, in preaching rigid dogmas and self-righteousness, we begin gradually to adopt the totalitarian attitude we deplore. (Meerloo, ‘The Rape of The Mind’; Grosset & Dunlap: New York, 1956. Pg. 164).

4. The 9/11 truth movement is reverse engineering totalitarian propaganda by Western governments and the Western corporate media. And by doing so, it is protecting human consciousness. It is also uplifting the spirit and dignity of the people of America and people all around the world.

5. The 9/11 truth movement poses this challenge to humanity: If history can be hijacked by political power then let’s get rid of political power and replace it with social power which comes from an informed and motivated civil society. Political power has never been used for good in any society. It is always used by elites to plunder, cheat, rob, kill, and destroy human life. Organized political power is the enemy of society.

6. The 9/11 truth movement conserves the honourable, good and celebrated principles of Western civilization and the Western Enlightenment such as freedom of speech and the right to dissent tyrannical laws.

7. The 9/11 truth movement does a great service to humanity by popularizing the concepts of mass mind control, totalitarian brainwashing, and false flag terrorism. It challenges the perverse

desire of ruling elites to control the masses through the mass media and the mass education system.

8. The 9/11 truth movement believes science should be in service to society and humankind, not political and economic power. The U.S. shadow government claims that the official 9/11 report is scientific while other explanations of the attacks are products of delusion and conspiracy, but the opposite is true. Science is on the side of the truth and facts, not the government’s twisted version of reality and physics.

9. The 9/11 truth movement opens the political space for the emergence of a true, just and dignified world order, based on equality and respect; in opposition to a corrupt world order based on deceit, oppression, terror, mass murder, robbery, fraud, and treason.

10. The 9/11 truth movement faces the whole picture of totalitarian evil in Washington and Israel. It explains the world drama that is unfolding before our narrow eyes. It zooms in on government lies, provides a bird’s eye view of modern history, with 3D angles and high-definition camera shots. It points the way towards a history beyond perceptions.
When future historians look back on our age of mass unconsciousness, they will understand who the true villains were in the war on terror because the 9/11 truth movement exposed them.

11. Canadian literary theorist Northrop Frye said that totalitarian societies like Hitler’s Germany, Stalin’s Russia and Mao’s China suffered from “closed mythologies.” People in those societies were controlled by a rigid belief system that was imposed on them by ideologues and elites in power.
Societies that have “open mythologies” are free to create new art, disobey bad laws, express controversial political opinions in an open forum, and question the voices of authority.

Since 9/11, America and the whole world has suffered from a closed mythology. The 9/11 lie is the myth of the ages, it has justified torture, the attack on civil liberties, trillions of dollars in military spending, an endless global war, and many other evil government policies.

The natural order of things have been turned upside down.

But justice can be restored because the 9/11 truth movement is destroying the 9/11 lie and exposing the evil myth-makers who crafted it.

A new filing in the King Lincoln Bronzeville v. Blackwell case includes a copy of the Ohio Secretary of State election production system configuration that was in use in Ohio’s 2004 presidential election when there was a sudden and unexpected shift in votes for George W. Bush.

The filing also includes the revealing deposition of the late Michael Connell. Connell served as the IT guru for the Bush family and Karl Rove. Connell ran the private IT firm GovTech that created the controversial system that transferred Ohio’s vote count late on election night 2004 to a partisan Republican server site in Chattanooga, Tennessee owned by SmarTech. That is when the vote shift happened, not predicted by the exit polls, that led to Bush’s unexpected victory. Connell died a month and a half after giving this deposition in a suspicious small plane crash.

Additionally, the filing contains the contract signed between then-Ohio Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell and Connell’s company, GovTech Solutions. Also included that contract a graphic architectural map of the Secretary of State’s election night server layout system.

Cliff Arnebeck, lead attorney in the King Lincoln case, exchanged emails with IT security expert Stephen Spoonamore. Arnebeck asked Spoonamore whether or not SmarTech had the capability to “input data” and thus alter the results of Ohio’s 2004 election. Spoonamore responded: “Yes. They would have had data input capacities. The system might have been set up to log which source generated the data but probably did not.”

Spoonamore explained that “they [SmarTech] have full access and could change things when and if they want.”

Arnebeck specifically asked “Could this be done using whatever bypass techniques Connell developed for the web hosting function.” Spoonamore replied “Yes.”

Spoonamore concluded from the architectural maps of the Ohio 2004 election reporting system that, “SmarTech was a man in the middle. In my opinion they were not designed as a mirror, they were designed specifically to be a man in the middle.”

A “man in the middle” is a deliberate computer hacking setup, which allows a third party to sit in between computer transmissions and illegally alter the data. A mirror site, by contrast, is designed as a backup site in case the main computer configuration fails.

Spoonamore claims that he confronted then-Secretary of State Blackwell at a secretary of state IT conference in Boston where he was giving a seminar in data security. “Blackwell freaked and refused to speak to me when I confronted him about it long before I met you,” he wrote to Arnebeck.

On December 14, 2007, then-Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, who replaced Blackwell, released her evaluation and validation of election-related equipment, standards and testing (Everest study) which found that touchscreen voting machines were vulnerable to hacking with relative ease.

Until now, the architectural maps and contracts from the Ohio 2004 election were never made public, which may indicate that the entire system was designed for fraud. In a previous sworn affidavit to the court, Spoonamore declared: “The SmarTech system was set up precisely as a King Pin computer used in criminal acts against banking or credit card processes and had the needed level of access to both county tabulators and Secretary of State computers to allow whoever was running SmarTech computers to decide the output of the county tabulators under its control.”

Spoonamore also swore that “…the architecture further confirms how this election was stolen. The computer system and SmarTech had the correct placement, connectivity, and computer experts necessary to change the election in any manner desired by the controllers of the SmarTech computers.”

Project Censored named the outsourcing of Ohio’s 2004 election votes to SmarTech in Chattanooga, Tennessee to a company owned by Republican partisans as one of the most censored stories in the world.

In the Connell deposition, plaintiffs’ attorneys questioned Connell regarding gwb43, a website that was live on election night operating out of the White House and tied directly into SmarTech’s server stacks in Chattanooga, Tennessee which contained Ohio’s 2004 presidential election results.

The transfer of the vote count to SmarTech in Chattanooga, Tennessee remains a mystery. This would have only happened if there was a complete failure of the Ohio computer election system. Connell swore under oath that, “To the best of my knowledge, it was not a fail-over case scenario – or it was not a failover situation.”

Bob Magnan, a state IT specialist for the secretary of state during the 2004 election, agreed that there was no failover scenario. Magnan said he was unexpectedly sent home at 9 p.m. on election night and private contractors ran the system for Blackwell.
